- At least 1TB hard drive for continuous recording. These recordings can be viewed using any Internet browser, (Internet Explorer, Safari (Macs), Google Chrome, Firefox).
- Motion detection of specific areas. Areas may also be excluded (masked) using this feature as well.
- Messaging by e-mail. Once an alarm has been activated, digital video recorders have the ability to send an e-mail message. This could be your PC at work, your laptop in the field, or, if your phone supplier has this option available, your cell phone.
- Cameras with Day/night (infra red) capability.
- Latest H.264 video compression. This feature enables longer viewing and recording time as it uses less broadband and hard drive space.
- In-built web server enables remote control. The DVR operates independently of any computer.
- Auto recovery function if the Internet connection or power is interrupted.
